A Custom Jewelry Experience
Story of the African Cape Buffalo Pendant.
A wonderful lady came into the store who had previously seen our instagram posts. After talking for a while I learned of her husbands hunting adventures and in turn she learned of our custom projects! She mentioned the idea of creating a custom piece to commemorate a wonderful hunting trip in Africa and I was obliged to have the opportunity! We sat down and I drew what would become the most formidable custom project I have had the honor of creating. Once the metal of choice and size was determined, I began designing the piece in CAD to procure a "model" of the piece before casting. They fell in love! Im not sure who was more excited, me or this wonderful couple!! We got the project cast and set in solid white gold and yellow gold with two natural black marquise diamonds. This piece is an incredible show stopper. I was honored to create these pieces and memories for my clients.
The Wildlife Series & How It Came To Be
I often think about animals, Texas Wildlife in particular and what a great gift it is to have these creatures. So many of us don't realize how special our native wildlife is, for some of us its like living near a beach, you don't pay any mind to the water when you see it everyday and the same goes for our wildlife. What a blessing it is to be able to hunt, put food on your table and provide. I created this pendant with this in mind exactly, how wonderful a hunt is, how special it is to provide and use this blessing. How beautiful our state is, prickly pear cactus and gorgeous oak trees. There's one thing that will always connect us as humans and that is the hunt. When you get that Trophy this year, commemorate that experience with a custom pendant. We will match the horns exactly so you can wear it with Texas pride!

A Custom Pendant for a Marine Biologist.
I had the pleasure of meeting a gentleman who came to the store for a watch re-sizing. We talked about many things and custom was one of them! He told me about his girlfriend and how she would be graduating soon in the field of marine biology. He wanted something unique, something meaningful. He had mentioned that her favorite shark was the hammerhead, so we ran with it. My goal was not to make a regular, flat, boring hammerhead pendant. I imagined an anatomically correct hammerhead in motion. Almost an aerial image of one gliding through the water, I drew one up and he quickly caught on to the image I was going for. Once the metal and size was determined, I began designing the piece in CAD to Procure a "model" of the piece before casting. I think it's safe to say we were both blown away! Down to the pelvic fins, this piece was designed for a professional marine biologist. Set with two natural black diamonds in the eyes and solid yellow gold, this one of a kind piece embodies the exact precision and level of craftsmanship we strive for.
